last night, i decided not to watch selda in robinson's ermita and went to quiapo istead. bought a number of films to watch for the holy week. since i have heard that most establishments in the metro will be closed today. i ended up getting: rock haven, kite runner and juno. hopefully there are worth watching for.

Rock Haven and Kite Runner seem to be interesting.. How I wish I do have time to watch dvds this days. I'm too busy in the office. Will be working later til 2am and tomorrow to troubleshoot some finance issues.

I loved Juno (both the movie and the character)! Lines are brilliantly funny! =p
juno has a good soundtrack.. i fell asleep while watching it.
the kite runner is beautiful! It was one of the movies I watched lately that has something to do with atonement. Juno has a very good screenplay but the execution of the movie was downplayed though it was nominated as best picture in the recent Oscars. I have the soundtrack of Juno and it's weird hehe

Let me know how The Kite Runner is. I read the book, and the story stayed with me long after I finished reading the book. I wonder if the movie is as effective. They never usually are.

Kite Runner is good but quite heavy. Nice ang dialogue...deep stuff.. :D

ewik ang taray ng kite runner, do you know na nilabas na ng bansa nila ang mga batang bida dun at nasa states na sila ksama ang family nila at pinag aaral and binubuhay sila dun etc. dahil sa controversy na gawa ng film! baka kasi pag initan sila and all that
cute naman yun juno pero hndi naman sya bengga as in bengga for me (sya pala yun bida sa hard candy na sinasabi ko sayo kahapon!)

whitelight: just reading the synopsis and review of the film, the air i breathe, and i must say its actually interesting. hehehe! i'll take your word for it then.
novasan: oh, so this was mounted from a book? yeah, sometimes i also get frustrated whenever a book i've read is being mounted to a film. probably because it is the imagination of the reader that is trying to be tackled down by the movie, which really seldom happen.
